Employment Opportunities

JSerra Catholic High School is a co-educational, four-year college preparatory high school. It is a private Roman Catholic high school, one of only six such schools in the United States and the first in California. Although the school is a private Catholic high school, it does maintain an Affiliation Agreement with the Diocese of Orange. The school offers courses in the following departments- religion, English, foreign language, social science, mathematics, science, fine arts, and physical education.

The projected enrollment for the 2008-09 school year is 1000 students. The number of faculty and staff is approximately 100. Applicants for faculty positions are expected to have a bachelor’s degree and a credential and/or master’s degree in their field. Candidates for teaching positions should also be adept in using technology in their pedagogy and have familiarity with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. JSerra offers its teachers a salary and benefits package comparable to other Catholic high schools in Orange County.
