There are approximately 25-28 students per class. Specific class size will vary depending on subject matter from 15- 28 students.

The regular school day begins at 8:00am and ends at 2:45pm.

What is the religious affiliation?

On June 4, 2001, the Diocese of Orange and JSerra High School entered into an Affiliation Agreement, recognizing JSerra as a private Roman Catholic School. The school is owned and operated by an entity legally distinct from the Diocese and governed by a lay Board of Directors. The school is subject to certain diocesan governance requirements to maintain its status as a private Catholic school. If I am not Catholic, can I still attend JSCHS?

JSerra is authentically Catholic and open to students of all faiths. The religious curriculum is based on the Roman Catholic doctrine and beliefs. All students are required to take four years of Religion. There is no tuition distinction between Catholic and non-Catholic students.

Are Honors and Advanced Placement courses offered?

English: English I Honors, English II Honors, AP English III, AP English IV; Mathematics: Algebra I Honors, Geometry Honors, Algebra II/Trigonometry Honors, Pre-Calculus Honors, AP Calculus; Science: Biology Honors, Chemistry Honors, Physics Honors, AP Biology, AP Chemistry; Foreign Language: Spanish I Honors, Spanish II Honors, Spanish III Honors, French III Honors, AP Spanish IV, AP French IV; Social Studies: World History Honors, US History Honors, AP European History, AP US History. What criteria are used for admissions?

7th and 8th grade report cards, standardized test scores, entrance exam, and 8th grade teacher recommendations.

How many Christian service hours are required for graduation?

Are uniforms required?

Yes. JSCHS enforces a personal appearance and dress code. Uniforms can be purchased from Uniforms 4 U located on the JSerra campus.
