Bistro & My School Account The JSerra Bistro offers restaurant-quality food throughout the school day and at special events. The menu includes grill items, custom sandwiches, pizza, soups, salads, desserts, and much more. The Bistro also offers numerous cold and hot drinks. The Bistro is open 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM on school days and includes a satellite location in the main quad area to help students get their food and drinks as quickly as possible. We invite you to stop by and check out the great food and drinks! See below for a menu and price list. We utilize a computerized payment system for all food and beverage purchases made at JSerra Catholic High School. This system uses a biometric finger scans and allows us to provide debit accounts for purchases. It increases the speed of food service to students so they have more time to eat during lunches and breaks. Parents enjoy the convenience of prepaying for their student’s purchases at whatever level they choose. Students still have the option to pay with cash on a daily basis. Students who wish to use the new debit system are identified through the FSS® POSitiveID System, which utilizes a biometric finger-imaging device. The system converts the finger image into a numbered pattern that is then stored for future identification at the point-of-service. This system is NOT associated with fingerprints. It CANNOT be used to identify students by lifting fingerprints and comparing them with the digital finger image. No fingerprint is stored in the computer. This is a positive identification system; only the authorized student can access his or her account. In order for a student to use the system, we must register the image of his or her index fingers. This only needs to be done once while the student is enrolled in the FSS system. The information stored on the FSS system is only for use by this software in our system. There are several layers of security built into this software and the school’s network. This is a closed system and it is not accessible from the Internet. We urge you to take full advantage of this system by registering your student in the FSS system online by clicking here or visiting http://www.myschoolaccount.com. Please note that you will need your student’s JSerra Student ID Number to set up your student’s account. Once you have completed the registration process, you may place funds into your student’s account on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis. You choose the amount you want to deposit. Any funds not spent by the end of school will be available for your student’s use the following school year. Should you ever wish to access your student’s account to verify his or her purchases, you may do so online by visiting the same website. For more information download the instruction manual below.
