Dear JSerra students and parents, Are you interested in going to China this summer? Are you interested in exploring the ancient sites of the Chinese major cities? Are you looking for an opportunity to build international relations and build your college resume at the same time? Then you can't beat this opportunity through the Legends of China program! We encourage you to take advantage of this unique opportunity to act as a student ambassador of peace to China this coming July. Travel across the Pacific on the "Silk Road to the Future"to meet your Chinese counterparts, as well as students, faculty, staff, and alumni from all UC campuses and various universities across the nation. This coming summer's theme is INTERNATIONALISM and WORLD PEACE. For more information, click here. 2010 Trip Highlights: 1. The World Expo 2010 is in Shanghai 2. Splendid Silk Road 10-Year Anniversary Celebration at the Capital Museum 3. International Internship Opportunities (offered by the City of Beijing) 4. International Teamwork Projects: Better City, Better Life (one on one for U.S. and Chinese students) 5. Meeting your Chinese counterparts, visiting top high schools 6. Exclusive educational and cultural exchange programs (daily topics, seminars, etc) 7. Historical site visits to the Great Wall, Forbidden City, and... a lot more! 8. DATES: July 16-25, 2010 COST: $1,766.00 pays for a trip of 10 days in 2 different cities, as well and your airfare, hotel rooms, food, transportation and program participation. Immediate families of selected JSerra students are also welcome to participate in this great opportunity.
