Journey to Joy
JOURNEY TO JOY - A MATCHING PROGRAM
Through December 2006, JSerra’s Development Committee has raised over $25 million in cash and pledges. JSerra will need to secure an additional $32 million over the next 5 years to pay down the financing used to construct and equip our campus. Lead gift solicitation with major donor prospects and one-on-one meetings with parents and friends have been implemented and have been very effective. We have a long way to go, so your support would be very much appreciated, whether through a gift, multi-year pledge, or by identification of a potential lead donor.
To complete the current construction of the South Sports Complex and to satisfy bank pledge covenants, JSerra’s Co-Founders have pledged $3,500,000 over the next 3 years in exchange for matching pledges payable over 4 years. As of January 1, 2008, we have received $1,900,000 in matching gifts.
Funds will be used as follows:
Project Completion List: $2,000,000
Fund Operating Deficits: $2,671,726
Debt Reduction: $2,328,274
Total Matching Needs: $7,000,000
The Project Completion List includes stands for the stadium field, additional lockers, a bulkhead for the aquatic center, a sports plaza with concession stand, additional bleachers in the field house, an audio system for outdoor fields, and many more items.
We need your participation to make “Journey to Joy” a complete success. This program will end on December 31, 2007. Any amount would be appreciated.
All donations in excess of $25,000 will be recognized on the perpetual JSerra Donor Wall located in Building 2. There are also Naming Opportunities available for donations ranging from $25,000 to $5,000,000.
JSerra is a 501C(3) non profit religious corporation. All donations are tax deductible.
