Seniors Nick Callen and Riley O'Brien were honored at the National Football Foundation's Orange County Chapter's annual Scholar-Athletes Awards Dinner this past Monday. Honorees must be all-league or all-conference first team while maintaining a GPA of 3.6 or higher.

JSerra had their first 2nd place finish in the prestigious Sage Hill Prep Classic. Saving the best for last, the two undefeated teams took to the courts and battled to a 4-5 Sage victory.

The JSerra Girl's 2017 Soccer Season will come to an end this Saturday, March 11. Having made a brilliant run through CIF sectionals, the Lady Lions played five games in two weeks to come away with JSerra's first Division 1 CIF Championship in Girl's Soccer!

Isabella D'Aquila scored a goal in the semifinals, in the final and in championship shootout as JSerra won its first CIF-SS title. The sophomore leads the county with 30 goals.

Boys Basketball will take on Taft High School of Woodland Hills in the CIF-State Division 1 Playoffs on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at Taft. This is the second time in school history that JSerra Boys Basketball has made it into the CIF-State Tournament. The last time the Lions qualified was in the 2013-14 season in Division 4.

Mary Kaffen '16 has been selected as Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference's Player of the Week as a starting freshman member of Trinity University in San Antonio, TX.

As the clock ticked down to the final two-minute warning Tuesday night, the stands on the visitor side at Huntington Beach High School were filled with an electric excitement knowing the JSerra Girls Soccer team punched their ticket to the Division 1 CIF Final.

Despite the toughest match of the season last Friday night against Los Alamitos, Girls Soccer came out on top 2-1. The Lady Lions continue to make history on their way to the CIF Semi Final game this Tuesday 2/28 against the Huntington Beach Oilers.

JSerra Girls Soccer advances to the Quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Division 1 Playoffs this Friday against Los Alamitos. The Lady Lions have made school history by winning the Trinity League Title for the first time this year.

While being selected to the Open Division and being considered one of the top 16 teams in southern California was a great honor for the Lions, it meant a very tough road in the playoffs. But last night against Alemany, the Lions came out strong behind the play of JT Robinson, Sebastian Much, and Joel Mensah.

After combined 290 miles of travel, Lady Lions Basketball returns home to host fourth-seeded Los Altos in the CIF-SS 2AA quarterfinals tonight. A 130-mile trip to Barstow and 160-mile journey to play Dos Pueblos High were highlighted by season-high efforts by senior Lexi Vail's 27 point effort and senior sharpshooter Julia Ackerman who set the school CIF Playoff record with eight 3-pointers in a second-round victory over Dos Pueblos.

JSerra Catholic High School announced today that Pat Harlow will be the new Head Football Coach. After carefully considering many strong applications for this position, Coach Harlow jumped out quickly as the best fit for the Lions football program.
