At JSerra, we believe that athletics play an integral role in the mental, physical, and spiritual development of young adults. Athletics teach critical life lessons and skills, such as discipline, cooperation and team-work, time management, dedication, morality, compliance with rules, and proper work ethics.

Thus, we encourage all our students to participate in school athletics, from intramural sports to varsity competition in one of the most highly-competitive leagues in the country – the Trinity League. We also encourage our students to participate in multiple sports, rather than focusing on only one activity.

We are committed to providing our students the best possible athletic environment, from experienced and dedicated coaches and trainers to unparalleled athletic faculties and equipment.

We invite parents and students to experience first-hand our dedication to high school athletics by taking a virtual tour of our programs and facilities or visiting the campus in person.

JSerra Pavers Campaign

I am privileged to be able to tell you about a unique opportunity to permanently mark your family’s name and contribution in JSerra history.

Everyone wants the best for their children. They want their children to attend the best schools, and receive the finest academic and athletic instruction possible. We at JSerra Catholic High School share this goal. We are committed to providing all student-athletes with the best possible athletic facilities and training environment. However, we need your help to ensure our shared goals are met.

Participation fees and athletic expenses are becoming a burden for some families. Our facilities need modifications and improvements throughout the south campus. In response to these needs, the Athletic Department has started the Pavilion Paver Campaign to provide the needed funds for these critical projects. The goal of this program is to accomplish the following:

  • Provide JSerra families and supporters a means to leave a permanent legacy on the JSerra Athletic Campus
  • Reduction of player participation fees
  • Improvements to & maintenance of the athletic facilities
  • Purchase scoreboards for athletic facilities

The pavers are scheduled to be installed in June of this year, and are available for purchase through the Athletic Office (see enclosed brochure for prices, payment plans and paver details). Your involvement in this JSerra athletic fundraiser is vital, and 100% of your contribution will be used to support JSerra athletics.

Thank you for your consideration of this matter. We can’t wait to provide the memories and experiences of a lifetime. See you at the inaugural ground paver setting!

Yours in Christ,

Jim Hartigan

Attention in Regards to Parking

Dear Lion family,

It has been brought to my attention from the Office of Advancement that numerous unauthorized cars are being parked in reserved spaces on the South Side of campus. Various supporters and families have purchased the right to park in these reserved spots and have given a considerable gift of financial support to JSerra in exchange for the exclusive use of these spaces. Thus, I am asking for your support in adhering to the following policies and guidelines:

1) Under no circumstance, should a reserved spot be used by any coach, staff member, parent, referee, official, visitor, etc.. All parties, other than those that have their name on a reserved space, should park in the main athletic lot adjacent to the tennis courts or use the North side of campus.

2) Parents are encouraged to pick-up their sons/daughters in the main lot on the North side of campus or in the lot closest to the tennis courts/pool area.

3) Please remind your sons/daughters not to park in reserved spaces unless it is their family’s assigned parking spot.

4) No “temporary” parking should take place in reserved spaces

Your support and enforcement of these policies are greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions, concerns or are interested in purchasing a reserved parking space, please contact Elizabeth Bade in the Office of Advancement at (949) 493-9307 ext. 1148.

God bless & GO LIONS!!!
