Bistro Account Management

Students may use cash or debit (via a computerized payment debit system using a biometric finger scan) for all food and beverage purchases made at the Bistro.

ADVANTAGES OF PAYING VIA FINGER SCAN

The biometric finger scan increases the speed of food service to students so they have more time to eat during lunches and breaks. Moreover, parents will enjoy the convenience of prepaying for their student’s purchases at whatever level they choose.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR FINGER SCAN

In order for a student to use the system, we must register the image of his or her index fingers. This only needs to be done once while the student is enrolled in the FSS system. The system converts the finger image into a numbered pattern that is then stored for future identification at the point-of-service.

No fingerprint is stored in the computer; it is a closed system and is not accessible from the internet. This is a positive identification system — only the authorized student can access his or her account.

We urge you to take full advantage of this system by registering your student in the FSS system online:

  1. Register your student at MySchoolAccount. You will need your student’s JSerra Student ID Number to set up your student’s account.
  2. Once registration is complete, you may place funds into your student’s account on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis by ACH or credit card. Any funds not spent by the end of school will be available for your student’s use the following school year.
  3. Should you ever wish to access your student’s account to verify his or her purchases, you may do so online by visiting MySchoolAccount.
