ABOUT THE GUEST

Sr. Miriam, O.P. is a Dominican Sister of Mary Mother of the Eucharist, headquartered in Ann Arbor, MI. Sister grew up in Canada and loved science from an early age. In 2004 she obtained a pharmacist degree and began her career. Two years later, after encountering Christ in a powerful way, she entered religious life.  She has been teaching and evangelizing in Catholic schools ever since. Sister has many roles on the JSerra campus: she teaches biology, serves as the Director of Curriculum for the school, and heads up both JSerra’s Virtue Program and its OCIA. Additionally, she puts her many other talents at the service of God and the school by playing piano and singing at weekly all-school Mass and leading line dancing for students and staff on regular occasions! She is also the local superior of her congregation of four other sisters who teach at the high school.
