On Wednesday, May 21, our Senior Class of 2025 celebrated a 16-year-old JSerra tradition by jumping into the pool after Mass and the Senior Awards Ceremony, fully clothed in their formal Mass uniforms, an event that has affectionately come to be known as the "Senior Plunge."
With parents watching, photographing and taking video from the stands, along with several staff members strategically stationed around the pool deck, seniors jumped, dove, belly-flopped, flipped, and cannon-balled into the pool.
The Senior Plunge was held during a celebratory week in which the graduating students participated in the several activities including the "Live for Others" Camino and Yearbook Signing Luncheon, a trip to Catalina, and Grad Nite at Disneyland and California Adventure. The week's festivities concluded with a masquerade-themed prom at the Coto Valley Club.
The Orange County Register was on hand to photograph and report on the 2025 Senior Plunge. CLICK HERE to view a copy of the published article.
The Baccalaureate Mass will be held on Friday, May 30, and the Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 31. Both events will take place at 4:00 p.m. on JSerra's Varsity Football Field.
