A Unique Resolution

The tournament was initially scheduled to conclude on March 15, a date around which many teams had planned their spring commitments. However, following OCSA's semi-final victory, it was found that they could not compete beyond the planned end date due to prior commitments.

Faced with the possibility of an unavoidable forfeiture for OCSA, Mater Dei stepped forward with a generous proposal. Rather than advancing alone, they suggested that both OCSA and Mater Dei be declared co-champions. This proposal was graciously accepted by OCSA and JSerra, ensuring that neither team would face an undeserved disadvantage.

Final Standings

The final results of the tournament are as follows:

  • Co-Champions: OCSA and Mater Dei
  • Second Place: Santa Margarita
  • Third Place: JSerra Blue
  • Fourth Place: OCSA Blue

The tournament organizers extend their gratitude to both OCSA and Mater Dei for their sportsmanship and cooperation in resolving the scheduling conflict. Additionally, a heartfelt thank you goes out to all 18 competing teams. Their support, participation, and assistance were vital in making this event a success.

As the curtain closes on this year's Mock Trial Tournament, the spirit of collaboration and mutual respect displayed by the students leaves a lasting impression, highlighting the true essence of competition.
