JSerra Places in Top 5 at American Chemical Society Competition

Congratulations to Dr. Jan Kilduff's eight Honors Chemistry students who recently competed in Orange County's 55th Annual American Chemical Society First Year Chemistry Exam Team Competition. The team placed an impressive fifth out of 44 public and private high schools.

This year's exam had a total of 327 participants from local schools with each team comprised of its school's top five Chemistry students.

"The Honors Chemistry classes taught at JSerra are quite challenging, and these students have been top performers all year long," said Dr. Kilduff. "It's great that they confirmed their advanced understanding and comprehension of chemistry by earning this aware, which compares them to their peers all across Orange County!"

A special mention goes out to junior Jeff Tang, who was the leading scorer for the Lions.
