JSerra Seniors Recognized in Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

JSerra Catholic High School is proud to celebrate the artistic achievements of four Class of 2026 seniors who earned recognition in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Regional Competition, one of the nation’s most prestigious programs honoring creative student work.

Giovanna Julian, Hance Huang, Audrey Abrahams, and Bethan Elliott each received Honorable Mention distinctions for their submissions, reflecting exceptional creativity, technical skill, and artistic voice. In addition, Bethan Elliott was awarded a Silver Key for her striking photo submission, a notable honor within an exceptionally competitive regional field.

The students’ work spans photography and colored pencil, showcasing a range of subject matter and visual approaches. From intimate, emotionally resonant imagery to dramatic explorations of light, color, and contrast, each piece reflects thoughtful composition and a strong sense of perspective. Together, the collection highlights both individual expression and the depth of talent within JSerra’s visual arts community.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards recognize originality, craftsmanship, and authentic student voice, making these honors a meaningful milestone as these seniors prepare to graduate.

Congratulations to Giovanna, Hance, Audrey, and Bethan on this well-deserved recognition, and to JSerra’s Visual Arts program for continuing to inspire creativity, excellence, and artistic confidence in our students.
