Yesterday the CIF Southern Section, which is the governing body for high school athletics in Southern California, made the decision to delay the start date for all high school sports and their respective athletic programs for the '20 Fall season. We maintain that the health and safety of our student athletes is imperative to not only our school but to the families that entrust us with their sons and daughters.

While this news is a disappointment, we fully support and appreciate the work that CIF State Commissioner Ron Nocetti and CIF Southern Section Commissioner Rob Wigod have put in to ensure that a schedule was developed to help maintain a culture for our youth to maintain their athletic endeavors.

Our administration and coaches have been working diligently and will continue to do so for our student athletes. We will continue this tradition of high academic and sport excellence. We also strive for the moment we are integrated back into full time on campus when school resumes. We feel we are extremely prepared to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all.
