JSerra Theatre Company Premieres 'Puffs' Tonight

JSerra Theatre Company presents the first of five hilarious performances of its winter play, Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Rose Black Box Theatre.

Written in 2015 by New York-based playwright Matt Cox, Puffs follows three young wizards trying to make it through a magic school that is dangerous for children who are there at the same time as the famous wizard Potter. It's a must-see comedy that will have you laughing your way through a fun and heartfelt take on a very familiar story!

Puffs is directed by student director Keely Schrantz ('22). JSerra Theatre Company is proudly run by our students, who receive all the tools necessary to lead a professional theatre company. The cast and crew have been hard at work building sets, designing and sewing costumes, and rehearsing every scene to perfection.

Performances begin nightly at 7:00 p.m. tonight through Saturday, January 29. There will also be a matinee performance at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29. (UPDATE: All performances have sold out and tickets will not be sold at the door.)
