At JSerra Catholic High School we offer a rich and challenging curriculum that prepares our students to succeed in college and beyond. Our focus is on critical thinking, complex problem solving and higher order reasoning — coupled with faith and character building.
Students must take courses at JSerra to fulfill graduation requirements. Any course taken outside JSerra Catholic High School for advancement and/or to meet prerequisites, must be pre-approved by the Vice Principal and will not be included in your transcript.
Upper level, honors, and AP courses will require an A- in the first semester and 3rd quarter of the prior college prep course or a B- in the first semester and 3rd quarter of the prior honors/AP course unless otherwise stated under the course's prerequisites. Students who do not meet the prerequisites are welcome to petition for the course at the end of 2nd semester, however, placement is not guaranteed.
If a student earns a D/F in an Honors or AP course and remediates the course, the remediation grade is not included in qualification for prerequisites.
