Application Process

Applications for the Class of 2030 are now open!

If you have not already, please submit an online inquiry form here.

Submit Your Application Form Online

When applications open, please create an account on Finalsite Enrollment, which is where you will complete your application and also track its status. The fee to apply is $75.

Request and Upload Transcripts

Please request transcripts from your school’s registrar via email, and then upload an unofficial copy in PDF format through Finalsite Enrollment under supplemental documents. Transcripts must include all middle school grades up through the first term (quarter/trimester/semester) of 8th grade.

Things You Will Need:

  • A PDF of Middle School Transcripts and/or Registrar Email Address

Standardized Test Results

Parents will be prompted to upload their student's most recent standardized test scores (STAR/IOWA/MAP/etc.) during the application process. Please upload these with your application in PDF format. Contact your current school for your student's test records.

Request Recommendations

The application will also ask you for letters of recommendation. Please use your Finalsite Enrollment account to send requests to your recommenders. JSerra requires the following recommendations:

  • Math Teacher
  • English Teacher
  • Administrator (Principal/Dean/Counselor)
  • Pastor/Faith Leader (Optional)

Things You Will Need:

  • Email address for your Math Teacher
  • Email address for your English Teacher
  • Email address for an Administrator
  • Email address for your Pastor/Faith Leader (Optional)

Apply for Financial Aid (Optional)

The FACTS early application deadline is typically November 1. The regular application deadline is February 1. If you would like to apply for financial aid, complete the online FACTS application.

Take the HSPT

HIGH SCHOOL PLACEMENT TEST

All incoming 9th grade applicants are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) as part of the application process. The HSPT primarily serves as a tool for course placement.

Applicants must submit an application prior to registering for the HSPT. Registration for the HSPT is through Finalsite Enrollment.

This year JSerra will be offering the High School Placement Test (HSPT) with limited capacity. Once you have completed your online application, you can sign up for a date using the link below. If you plan to take the HSPT at an alternative location, please let us know and request that results be shared with JSerra.

JSerra applicants can sign up for our Mock HSPT. Space is limited, and priority will be given to students who have already submitted an application, so please apply before signing up.
