Over the years, JSerra has welcomed students from countries including South Korea, China, Vietnam, Brazil, Japan, Italy, Germany, Mexico, Norway, and many others. While each student's journey is unique, they quickly discover what all Lions share: a welcoming community that feels like family.

Supporting Every Step of the Journey

Our International Student Enrichment Program (ISEP) provides personalized support to help international students succeed academically, socially, spiritually, and culturally throughout their time at JSerra.

Students benefit from:

• Specialized English immersion courses designed to strengthen academic language skills (rising junior and senior applicants are expected to be fluent in English)

• Introduction to the Catholic faith, traditions, and values

• After-school academic tutoring and one-on-one National Honor Society peer tutoring

• Individualized counseling tailored to each student's language proficiency and academic goals

• Cultural enrichment opportunities through the Lion Ambassador Club, International Club, holiday celebrations, field trips, and community events

• Access to Honors and AP coursework for qualified students

• Full participation in athletics, visual and performing arts, student clubs, leadership opportunities, and campus life

Homestay & Family Support

We understand that studying abroad is a family decision. From the moment students are admitted, our team works closely with families to ensure they feel supported every step of the way.

For students who need housing, JSerra partners with JR Education Group, a designated Homestay Organization, to carefully match students with welcoming host families. Our goal is to provide every international student with a safe, caring home where they can thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
