JSerra’s Choral Music Program welcomes students at every level, from those discovering their voices for the first time to experienced singers pursuing advanced performance opportunities. Through daily instruction, concerts, festivals, liturgies, competitions, and international travel, students develop vocal technique, musicianship, confidence, discipline, and lasting friendships.

Program Philosophy
The JSerra Choral Music Program believes every student has a voice worth developing and a gift worth sharing. Through disciplined instruction, collaborative music-making, and meaningful performance experiences, students grow in vocal technique, musicianship, confidence, and artistic expression.
Rooted in JSerra’s Catholic mission, the program invites students to encounter beauty through both sacred and secular music. Choir teaches students to listen closely, work toward a common purpose, and recognize that the strongest performances emerge when individual voices serve something greater than themselves.
Choir Director, Jennifer Kheriaty
Mrs. Jennifer Kheriaty serves as Performing Fine Arts Department Chair and Choir Director at JSerra Catholic High School. She leads a choral program that welcomes singers at every level, helping students develop vocal technique, sight-reading skills, musicianship, confidence, and leadership.
Under her direction, students participate in a variety of ensembles and performance experiences, including concerts, festivals, community events, and student-led activities. The program offers opportunities ranging from introductory choir through advanced and honors-level study, as well as specialized instruction for students pursuing music through the Arts Magnet Program.
Mrs. Kheriaty is committed to creating a joyful, collaborative community in which students grow as musicians, teammates, and leaders while learning to share their God-given voices with others.
