Every Student Has a Role to Play

JSerra's Theatre program invites students to discover their talents both on stage and behind the scenes. Through acting, technical theatre, design, and production, students develop confidence, creativity, collaboration, and leadership while experiencing the excitement of bringing live performances to life.

Each year, students produce three major productions, including a fall play, a winter production, and a spring musical. Guided by experienced faculty mentors, they take ownership of nearly every aspect of each production—from acting, stage management, lighting, sound, costumes, props, and set construction to marketing, company management, and more. Auditions for the fall play and spring musical are open to all JSerra students.

Whether pursuing theatre in college, preparing for a career in the performing arts, or simply discovering a lifelong appreciation for live performance, students find a welcoming community where every role matters and every contribution helps tell the story.
