Pep Squad - JSerra Catholic High School

The JSerra Pep Squad promotes school spirit and encourages excellence by supporting athletic teams, perform at rallies, and promote good sportsmanship and school spirit at each event.

The JSerra Pep Squad philosophy dictates that all cheer/song leaders uphold the morals and values of JSerra — becoming leaders who live in accordance with Gospel values. They also create positive relationships based on respect of oneself and of others, trust, and teamwork.

Pep Squad Philosophy

The JSerra Pep Squad exists to build a culture of school spirit rooted in faith, joy, and service. Through cheer and dance, our students inspire and unite the JSerra community while reflecting the values that define our school.

As members of the Pep Squad, students are ambassadors of JSerra Catholic High School. Whether on campus, at athletic events, in the community, or wearing JSerra apparel, they are called to model the faith, character, and integrity that are central to our mission. Every word, action, and interaction should reflect respect for others, humility, good sportsmanship, and a commitment to Christian virtue.

Pep Squad members are leaders who help create an environment where every student feels welcomed, encouraged, and inspired to support one another. They lead with enthusiasm, serve with generosity, and pursue excellence with confidence and humility. Their commitment extends beyond performance, embracing the responsibility to strengthen school spirit while fostering a positive, Christ-centered community.

Membership on the JSerra Pep Squad is both a privilege and a commitment. Students are expected to uphold the standards of the program throughout the entire year—from the announcement of team selections through the following year's tryouts—demonstrating consistent dedication to the team, the school, and the values they represent.

Through this commitment, Pep Squad members grow not only as athletes and performers, but also as servant leaders whose faith, character, and love for the JSerra community leave a lasting impact on those around them.
