Coach Brett Kay

Coach Brett Kay has elevated JSerra Baseball into a perennial national powerhouse and one of the premier programs in the highly competitive Trinity League, widely regarded as the nation's top high school baseball conference.
As the longest-tenured head coach in the league, Coach Kay has built a culture defined by excellence, toughness, and player development. In 2023, the Lions reached the pinnacle of California high school baseball, capturing back-to-back CIF Southern Section Division 1 Championships.
In addition to winning two CIF-SS titles, Coach Kay has guided the Lions to five Trinity League titles and a CIF Southern California Division 1 Regional title.
Coach Kay is a two-time CIF-SS Division 1 Coach of the Year and a two-time Orange County Coach of the Year, while amassing a career record of 374-198-2 in 20 seasons.
State of the Art Facility
JSerra entered into a partnership with AstroTurf & AFE Sports in 2018 to re-surface the baseball field with synthetic turf for a consistently stable surface and durable playing field.
The field is designed to withstand years of extreme use and perform in a variety of conditions.
Additionally, the venue features improved sight lines to enhance the overall fan experience.
