Top Level Coaching
Coach Kate Hick is one of the country's most respected lacrosse coaches.
She played collegiately at Duke University, where she helped the Blue Devils become nationally ranked and qualify for the NCAA Tournament four times, including a Final Four appearance during her sophomore year.
Hick was a four-year starter, two-time team captain, and earned All-American honors during her time as a Blue Devil.
She began her coaching career as the head coach of the Women’s Lacrosse program at Pepperdine University in Malibu from 2007-2010, and then moved into coaching on the high school level, where she served as the head coach of the Girls Lacrosse team at Foothill High School in Santa Ana from 2014-2018.
During her tenure at Foothill, Hick helped guide the Knights to a Southern Section title in 2015 and was named the Orange County Register’s Girls Lacrosse Coach of the Year in 2017.
Hick has guided the Lions to a Trinity League title and back-to-back CIF-SS Division 1 postseason appearance in her two seasons as coach.

State of the Art Facility
JSerra's lacrosse field utilizes the highest quality artificial turf: A-turf.
A-turf is a grass-like man-made surface manufactured from synthetic materials.
The field utilizes nearly 500,000 square feet of A-turf. The turf enhances athletes’ sports performance, provides the best traction, decreases risk of injury, and allows efficient drainage for all weather conditions.
