Coach Brett Ormsby
Top Level Coaching
Head Coach Brett Ormsby joined JSerra in 2018 and has established himself as one of the elite coaches in the country.
As a player, Coach Ormsby was a 2004 Olympian, National Champion, NCAA Tournament MVP, and the National Collegiate Player of the year. He was a 4x All American and 2x Cutino Award nominee (water polo’s version of the Heisman). He is the second all-time leading scorer in UCLA Water Polo history and first all-time in goals per game average.
Before coming to JSerra, Coach Ormsby was an assistant coach at Stanford University, and before that, he spent nine years building the Cathedral Catholic Water Polo program in San Diego.
During his tenure at JSerra, Coach Ormsby has led the Lions to three Trinity League titles, three CIF Southern California Division 1 Regional titles, and two CIF-SS crowns.
State of the Art Facility
The world-class Olympic-size pool holds 768,000 gallons of water and has been constructed with wave-reducing, overflow gutter technology, making this pool one of the fastest in the nation.
The Aquatics Center also offers a scenic background and open deck space, which makes it ideal as a training facility.
Spectators may view any aquatic event from the adjacent stands, which seat up to 400 fans.
