Coach Mike Mitrowski
Top Level Coaching
Coach Mike Mitrowski has enjoyed a decorated coaching career spanning more than 30 years on both the collegiate and high school levels.
As an assistant coach at Worchester Polytechnic University in Massachusetts, he helped the program win two New England team championships and coached 13 All-Americans wrestlers in 13 seasons.
In 17 seasons spanning two separate stints as an assistant coach at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Coach Mitrowski helped MIT win the first two National Collegiate Wrestling Association championships in school history.
During his time at the school, he also helped produce 17 All-American wrestlers and two individual National Champions.
Coach Mitrowski, who also served as the head coach at Saint John’s High School in Massachusetts, is an eight-time IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu World Champion.
State of the Art Facility
JSerra's spectacular Pavilion seats over 2,000 and includes a veranda that offers viewing around the upstairs perimeter of the gymnasium. The gymnasium has tremendous viewing for competition from every angle and seat in the house. The design permits three teams to simultaneously practice uninterrupted, with curtains separating each court from floor to ceiling. The state-of-the-art media boards provide top-notch viewing and quality advertising for local and national supporters of JSerra Athletics.
