From spirited traditions and student leadership to faith, service, athletics, and the arts, every experience is designed to help students build meaningful relationships and discover where they belong. Whether cheering on classmates under the Friday night lights, serving the local community, leading a House event, or discovering a new passion, every student is invited to find a place where they belong.

The House System
A community within the community.
JSerra’s House System was created to deepen mentorship, friendship, leadership, and belonging across every grade level. Students, faculty, and staff are placed into one of six Houses that foster connection, competition, service, and school spirit throughout the year.

At JSerra, student life is deeply connected to the spiritual life of the school through retreats, Campus Ministry, service experiences, prayer, and mentorship that foster authentic friendship and personal growth.

With dozens of clubs, leadership opportunities, service organizations, athletic teams, arts programs, and student-led initiatives, students are encouraged to explore their interests and discover new passions.

Student Leadership
Leadership at JSerra takes many forms. Students can serve their peers through ASB, lead within the House System, or, as seniors, apply to join Caritas Christi—a distinguished leadership organization dedicated to serving the school community with faith, character, and generosity. Each opportunity encourages students to lead with humility, responsibility, and a heart for service.
