Film
The JSerra Film Program takes aspiring student-filmmakers on a journey of the video and film-making process — from using single camera theory to light, audio, editing, and much more.
Beginning Film students will learn the fundamentals of filmmaking — including the history of film, storytelling, framing, editing, and the basic principles of film theory. Film 2 students will learn advanced techniques and concentrate more on story and production.
Film courses require class participation, assessments, discussions, group projects, and creative film projects that demonstrate an understanding of film concepts. Film is a great subject for students who want to further develop their creative and storytelling skills!
About Film
The Film courses at JSerra got me hooked on the art of storytelling through film. This is definitely something I hope to continue exploring in college and beyond.
