DRESS CODE

Do you have to dress up to participate? No, we welcome all golfers and styles. Should you dress up in your best "The Legend of Bagger Vance/Great Gatsby" attire!? Yes, yes, you should. Besides, you will need the outfit again to ring in the '20s in three short months!

FOR NON-GOLFERS . . .

Non-golfers are welcome to come to the social hour and banquet dinner for $50. Social hour will kick off with a "Mixology" class demonstrating how to make some of the classics from the 1920s like the "Gin Ricky" and "Sidecar."

Sponsorship Opportunities

$10,000 "Bobby Jones" Title Sponsor

In the 1920s, Bobby Jones was "an ultra-athlete," according to writer and historian Charles Price, "recognized at being better at his game than any other athlete was at his." While there is no doubt Jones is the finest amateur golfer the game has ever produced, there's a strong argument that he was the greatest golfer, period. Beginning with his victory in the 1923 U.S. Open at Inwood and ending with his U.S. Amateur victory at Merion in 1930, Jones won 13 championships in 20 tries, the most imposing run of major titles the game has ever seen.

$3,000 "Walter Hagen" Sponsors

Walter Hagen was golf's greatest showman — a flamboyant, princely romantic who captivated the public and his peers with sheer panache. Hagen was the world's first full-time tournament professional. He won so often and in such lavish style that he single-handedly ushered in the era of the playing pro — who through the early century was clearly of a lower station than the game's wealthy amateurs — into the socially exclusive world of golf.
