5th Annual JESPY Awards

Come support the 5^th Annual JESPY Awards on May 29, 2025! We will be highlighting outstanding athletic achievements of the year and adding athletes to the JSerra Catholic High School Athletics Hall of Fame.

A JESPY Award (JSerra Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Award) is an accolade currently presented by the JSerra Athletics Department to recognize individual and team athletic achievement as well as sports-related performances during the calendar year preceding the annual ceremony.

The fourth class of inductees in the JSerra Catholic High School Athletics Hall of Fame were honored in 2024 for their achievements and contributions as alumni, boosters, and community members who played an integral role in JSerra Athletic history. Join us to see who will be added to the Hall of Fame for 2025!

JESPYS GUEST SPEAKER ANNOUNCED

The JSerra Athletic Administration proudly announces its guest speaker and Hall of Fame inductees for the fifth annual JESPY Awards!

This year’s guest speaker will be Olympic Gold medalist Mike Eruzione, team captain of the United States Men’s National Hockey Team that captured global acclaim by winning the gold medal at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York. He has also served as a television broadcaster, bestselling author, motivational speaker, and assistant collegiate hockey coach.

Also, being honored with induction into the JSerra Athletics Hall of Fame are former Lions soccer star Juan “Crabby” Gutierrez (’11), former Lions volleyball standout Luciana Shafer (’08), and the JSerra Girls Cross Country teams of 2010-12.
