Campus Ministry focuses on fostering an authentic community rooted in the Gospel so that students may become genuine disciples of Christ.
Campus Ministry provides a place for students who need someone in their life to support them, guide them or just someone to talk to. We believe that we belong to each other, so students are always welcome to walk in and spend time with our Campus Minister or our NET missionaries.
Many students at JSerra have questions regarding the faith or are unsure of how to grow deeper into a genuine relationship with God. Campus Ministry offers a space for students to ask those questions and gives an opportunity for them to be mentored by the campus minister or a NET missionary. This past year over 200 students participated in either 1-on-1 mentorship or joined a discipleship group where they were able to be guided by their mentor in many different aspects of the spiritual life.
Many Campus Ministry programs are directed and administered by students. Such responsibility affords students valuable training and an opportunity to practice leadership, which we hope they will take with them to their future parishes and apostolates. We believe that we belong to each other, and students in leadership roles offers ways for our students to support one another and grow within themselves. Leadership opportunities consist of Retreat Leaders, Music Ministry, Altar Serving, and many more.
Retreats allow students to focus and deepen their interior lives through an encounter with the living God. All students have the opportunity to participate in several off-campus retreats offered throughout their experience at JSerra Catholic High School.
Campus Ministry is a place where I always feel welcomed and never feel judged. I have been able to create friendships that are Christ-centered and full of genuine love.

"Originally, I didn’t believe in God and was just coming on retreat to make new friends. But then we went to pray in church and it was so holy and unreal. I realize it was a sign from God that He is surrounding me always and loves me so deeply."
