Sacramental Life

At JSerra, we take the formation of our students’ faith and character as seriously as the development of their intellectual life, as we believe that we are all sons and daughters of God.

Weekly Mass

At the center of our culture is our all-school Masses on Wednesdays in which students and staff are highly involved. Many parents, alumni, and members of the community also regularly attend. This weekly liturgy features dynamic music plus homilies from our chaplain and local visiting priests.

DAILY MASS

JSerra offers a daily Mass in our campus chapel from 7:15 to 7:45 a.m. when school is in session. All members of the greater JSerra family are encouraged and welcome to attend.

Sacrament of Reconciliation and Discipleship

JSerra students are provided with regular opportunities to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation throughout the school year. Catholic and non-Catholic students alike are also able to receive spiritual guidance from our chaplain, visiting pastors, or campus ministers throughout the year, and are invited to meet regularly in small groups for personal discipleship.

Daily Adoration

JSerra offers daily Eucharistic adoration in our campus chapel from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. when school is in session. All members of the greater JSerra family are encouraged to make use of this grace-filled opportunity to spend dedicate time in prayer before our Lord.

PRAYER HOTLINE

The JSerra community offers prayers for everyone in need. All prayer requests are submitted online and are offered up in a general petition at each Wednesday Mass, once a month at Moms in Prayer, and during our Friday holy hour.

"Going to Mass with my classmates helps me stay calm and recharges me for the rest of the week."
