ABOUT THE GUEST

Deborah Nearmyer is the Vice President of Faith and Mission and founding team member at St. James Academy in Lenexa, KS. Deborah is also the founder and Co-Director of Camp Kateri Tekakwitha, a youth camp in the Archdiocese of Kansas City, Kansas, where she has worked in ministry for 30 years.

Deborah is a speaker and presenter on topics such as the spiritual life, mission-driven schools, the importance of a culture of community, missionary discipleship, and faith in the family. Deborah has a B.A. of Social Welfare from the University of Kansa and a Certificate of Commissioning from Holy Family School of Faith. 

She and husband, Deacon Dana Nearmyer, are the proud parents of five children and the joyful grandparents of seven.
