Tutoring

• Every Tuesday from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in the Athletic Classroom on the Athletic side of campus. 
• Every Wednesday from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in the Campus Ministry Room on the Academic side of campus.

This is open to all students and tutoring is available in all subjects.

What is Math Lab?

The Math Lab is designed to be drop-in tutoring for students – just like they have available in the major colleges. The Math Lab is staffed with JSerra Math teacher as well as NHS students to help answer questions, go over homework and offer another explanation if needed. Students in any math courses are welcome. This is not one-on-one tutoring, but students will certainly benefit from the opportunity to work through their questions with our teachers and NHS students.

Our Math Honors Society is blessed to offer math tutoring from current members as part of their volunteer service. There is no cost for their services.

MAθ members must tutor a minimum of ten hours per year as part of their service to the JSerra community.

Tutoring is offered by JSerra students who are also members of the National Honor Society. There is no cost for their services.

NHS members must tutor a minimum of ten hours per semester as part of their service to the JSerra community as well as maintain a 4.0 GPA each semester in order to remain "in good standing" with the National Honor Society. They must exceptional character, leadership ability, and moral integrity.

Teachers have an hourly rate. Teachers cannot tutor their own students. All appointments are outside regular school hours and by appointment only.
