NET Host Families
NET stands for National Evangelization Teams, and next year, JSerra will have a NET Team of our own! In September 2022, eight young adult missionaries will be on our campus through May 2023 serving students through Campus Ministry. They will be chaperoning our retreats, TNL Nights, and engaging with and mentoring students during the school day in classes, at breaks, and afterschool in athletics and extra-curricular activities.
These missionaries are mature in their faith as they lead teenagers, yet young enough to know clearly what it’s like to be a teenager in today’s world.
Be a host for just 2 weeks!
JSerra is seeking host families for the NET missionaries for a two-week minimum stay for two people (either two men or two women). Families may host more than two people and/or for a longer stay than two weeks if they wish.
NET Host Family Expectations
- Food - Host families are responsible for providing breakfast and dinner.
- Sleeping Space - There are no restrictions except that team members are NOT allowed to share quarters with any host family members. Team members travel with their own sleeping bags and personal items, and are flexible with where they sleep.
- Parking - Some homes will need to provide street or driveway parking for the NET minivan.
This will be an incredible opportunity for JSerra students to grow in faith by the example of these outstanding NET missionaries! For more details, please email Campus Minister Mrs. Sarah Abdulla at firstname.lastname@example.org.
It only takes two quick steps to sign up to be a host family for NET!
Next we ask that you write your last name in an available timeslot. Remember to choose a two-week minimum.
Once you have picked your date, please use the form below to complete your signup. We thank you in advance!
"The members of the NET Team have done miracles at our home in just the little time they have been there. My son has done a complete 180 and that is all thanks to NET.... I had never even considered hosting members of the NET team, but God had plans for us. I am so glad I did this!" Minnie C., Host
