ASL Students Visit California School for the Deaf in Riverside

Nearly 150 students take one of four levels of American Sign Language (ASL) offered at JSerra. Although their regular meetings with ASL Teachers Phillip Janes and Tiffany Currier give them great access to the world of signing through dialogues, projects, and presentations, Janes wanted to open up students' perspective of how many other deaf individuals there are in local society. . . .

Lions Tie for 6th at Champions Invitational, McMackin places 10th Overall

Indio, CA -- The Lions of JSerra Boys Golf notched a 6th place finish this weekend when they traveled to Indio to play in the prestigious Champions Invitational at Tarra Lago Golf Club. The Lions fired off a final round score of 310 to earn a tournament total of 919, just 2 strokes off a 4th place showing.

JSerra Chorale Wins First Place at WorldStrides Heritage Festival

JSerra Chorale earned the highest ranking of gold and won first place in their division at the WorldStrides Heritage Festival in Nashville, TN. Competing against high school chamber choirs around the nation, the Lions also won an Adjudicator's Award for Superior Performance and were invited to sing at the Festival of Gold, which is reserved for choirs who score 92% or higher.
